· For the past five years I’ve been living my dream, working as a writer-for-hire.

· For the previous fifteen-or-so I was living my nightmare, working in customer services management and corporate HR.

· I write for myself (on here, mostly) and for my clients (on their websites and in their magazines, mostly).

· I’ve also written two books, which you can view here.

· If you’d like to know more about the writing I do for my clients, here’s my website.

· If you’d quite like me to write something for you, why not tell me more?

So… what else?

· The more unusual a writing project is, the more I enjoy it. Amongst other things, I’ve written corporate poetry, in-depth articles about clogs, and sweary eulogies.

· I prefer writing to talking.

· As a result of my parents’ multiple marriages, I’m one of eight children in total.

· This may be why I prefer writing to talking.

· I live with my partner; an actor and comedian I met during an improvised comedy course we took in 2019, and our two rescue cats (what self-respecting writer doesn’t have at least one cat?) called Bobby and Harry.

Bobby (in front) and Harry, being supercilious.

· We live in Southend-on-Sea, a town in Essex which has the longest pleasure pier in the world.

· We have no children. Sometimes I write about that.

· I’m currently trying to find a vegan cheese that isn’t completely disgusting.
